CAPEA: a members’ website, built from scratch.
Childbirth and Parenting Educators of Australia (CAPEA) is the national peak body for childbirth and parenting educators. We replaced their old theme with a custom website that runs their memberships, shop, events, webinars and journals in one place.

What we built
Custom block theme
A custom WordPress block theme replaced the old theme, so the team edits pages in the standard WordPress editor.
Memberships and member login
Members join or renew online through WooCommerce Memberships, then log in to a members’ dashboard with journals, webinars and meeting reports.
Events calendar
A custom events calendar with details in a pop-up, and the next events on the home page.
Journal and webinar archives
Archives the team manages themselves, plus a responsive video player on all 25 webinar pages.
Branded emails and spam protection
Branded membership and account emails, and Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact and newsletter forms.
Hosting move and handover
Moved to new hosting with SSL, and an admin guide for journals, webinars and events.
Videos and ads
Campaigns for members and events.
Facebook and Instagram video ads for the national conference, memberships and the national standards, and a tutorial that shows members how to log in. Tap a video to play it.
