Individual Activity

The goal is to become comfortable with the camera and experiment with presentation techniques and the style of your video. Here's a few ideas to get started. For assessment save 3 videos that are at least 1 to 3 minutes long each.

Hello World

Introduce yourself and talk about things you are interested in learning or knowledgable about.

Product Review

Use props and talk about the quality, price and your rating of a product.

Presenter

Imitate a news presenter and give a short segment of your choice e.g current event, sports,entertainment

Two Player or Group Activity

In this activity we gain communication and planning skills. For assessment save 2 videos that are at least 3 to 5 minutes long each. One live and one scripted.

The Interview

Take turns interviewing each other. For the live video show both of you in the scene. For the scripted video record the interviewer asking the question and then record the guest answering the question and join them together later.

Reflection

Spend 20 minutes thinking about what you've learned. Here's some things to think about:

• Creative ways you plan to use video in your work and in your life.
• How you can use it for business and marketing.
• Uses in education across all subject area's.
• The impact of distributed video on the internet.
• A practical assessment of the software.
