Defective by design

Defective by Design is a anti-DRM initiative by Free Software Foundation. The philosophy is that DRM or "Digital Rights Management" (or, as the FSF calls it, "Digital Restrictions Management") is a "defective" product. This cripples the future digital freedom. The aim is to target "Big Media, unhelpful manufacturers and DRM distributors" and their goal is to bring public awareness of the issue and invite everyone to join the initiative.
